Monocrystal Dies

Monocrystal blanks are made from synthetic diamond crystals, each synthesized under tightly controlled growth conditions and subjected to high standards of quality control with regard to dimensions and physical characteristics. Monocrystal products are thermally stable up to 1000C in a non oxidizing environment.

All Monocrystal products are oriented with respect to the diamonds crystallographic planes. Monocrystal blanks are used in the manufacture of dies for drawing wire in applications where previously natural diamond was the only choice. Its orientation in the (111) plane of the diamond ensures die life which is comparable or superior to natural diamond.
